Nestled in the heart of Tuscany’s famed Chianti region, this wine hails from the prestigious Colli Senesi hills, where winemaking dates back to the Etruscans of 500 BC. From the historic slopes of San Gimignano, celebrated for its breathtaking beauty and ideal terroir, comes this elegant expression by Pietraserena. Set on ancient, shell-studded Pliocene soil and praised by world-famous director Zeffirelli as “one of the most beautiful areas,” this wine is a tribute to centuries of craftsmanship and the timeless charm of the Tuscan countryside. A true gem from one of Chianti’s most revered regions.

This wine shines with a brilliant ruby red hue, accented by youthful violet reflections. On the palate, it is both intense and refined, bursting with vibrant fruit character, most notably, morello cherry, sweet cherry, and an array of ripe red berries. These fruit notes are beautifully integrated with hints of spice and pepper, subtle herbal undertones, and a touch of earthy minerality.
