Rich amber in colour, this whiskey opens with ripe pineapple, dried mango, and sweet papaya, unfolding into stewed plums, raisins, dark chocolate, and cinnamon. The palate is lush and layered—tropical fruits meet panettone pudding, candied orange peel, and vanilla crème anglaise, before deepening into roasted hazelnuts, fig jam, dates, clove, and sweet tobacco from the Palo Cortado casks. A finish of tiramisu, banana-almond cake, chili dark chocolate, and lingering cedar and cigar leaf leaves a lasting impression. Full-bodied, waxy, and beautifully balanced.
